The domestic flight is ready for departure. A peek into the passengers’ minds:
A young lady in a business suit: “Again I have to go to work! When will I and my husband get job in the same city? I’m tired of travelling every week.”
A 10 year old child still half asleep: “Vacation is over. Again I have to go to school!.”
A tired old Man “I had a wonderful time with my grandchildren. I am going to be alone again.”
They all wished for a miracle. The flight got cancelled and fulfilled their wish.

Dear Jahnavi
I’m guessing that by “a formal dress” you mean something on the order of a business suit? Usually when I think of a formal dress I think of the long dresses worn to proms and weddings. 😉 That’s really very nitpicky on my part. You captured the thoughts of three different people and did it well. Nice that they got a little reprieve in the end.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Thanks Rochelle for pointing out about the incorrect usage . I now changed it to ‘business suit’. I enjoyed writing for this prompt. Thanks for providing this weekly prompt 🙂
Perfect. I admire anyone who can function in a second or third language. I speak a fair amount of Spanish and a bit of Hebrew but, alas, I’m not fluent in either for them.
Thanks a lot for your encouraging words 🙂
Nicely constructed. Well done.
Thanks so much for your kind words, Sandra.
Great story relaying the thoughts of three different people – who all got their wishes in the end!
Thanks so much, Joy 🙂
My pleasure!
Three threads – and you tied them up so well. Great work!
Lovely, for once wishes are granted. I can almost see these people sitting there.
Yes. Their wishes are fulfilled at least temporarily 🙂
The power of combined prayer!
Indeed 🙂
loved it!
