“ Jack, Don’t buy any more batteries. ”
“Emma, we need them for almost every electronic gadget in our house.”
“Yes, Jack. But we already have a jar full of extra batteries. Also, there a lot of batteries everywhere in the house”
Meanwhile, Jack is busy browsing the internet and Emma is busy searching and sorting the unused batteries.
“Emma, Can you believe this? If we buy a digital photo frame, we will get a pack of batteries free..!”
Emma let’s out a deep sigh wondering when her husband will get over this strange hobby of collecting batteries.

Some people collect coins, some collect books, while this weirdo collects batteries. 😀 Nicely told.
Thanks a lot,Yinglan 🙂 Some people do have weird hobbies 😀
My pleasure. 🙂
Nice one. Liked it.
Thanks a lot,Indira 🙂
At least it’s a useful collection 🙂
Haha! Good story, Jahnavi! Yes, people collect the strangest things, don’t they? (Except for my collection of pencil shavings, that is –those aren’t strange!)
Thanks so much, Vijaya. Nice to hear that you collect pencil shavings. Do you do any art work with those?
I was just kidding! 🙂
No, I don’t collect pencil shavings, truly. I was being silly.
😀 Good one. I have seen some people do art work with pencil shavings. So, I thought you too did 🙂
The worst part of batteries is that you had to buy two to get one, etc. Sweet narrative. Thanks!
Thanks a lot for your wonderful comments,Kent 🙂
Quite funny! I have been pleased how less and less items seem to need disposable batteries. Many you can charge now and it seems to me this much better for the environment. Great story.
Thanks, Amanda, for your comments 😊
I feel for Emma. They probably don’t need an electronic picture frame any more than they need more batteries. I like your dialogue and the character dynamics.
Thanks so much, Margaret. Glad to know that you liked the story.
Batteries in picture frames, it might catch on. Your story caught me.
Thanks so much for your wonderful comments😊
LOL! A collector of batteries and it seems of other things in order to get more batteries. 😀 😀
Thanks a lot, Joy😊
Dear Jahnavi,
At least he’ll never run out. 😉 At least he collects something small. Good one.
Shalom,
Rochelle

Hah, weird his hobby may be, but it can come in handy, too. Fun story.
Yep, that’s a strange hobby. But everything comes with batteries inlcluded nowadays, you can’t help but end up with a jar full!
This is a weird but great hobby. At least he’ll never be in need of batteries. I don’t keep batteries as hobby, but I do store a box of batteries ! Hahaha!
True. It’s a weird hobby. 🙂
