Wow! This place is a perfect background for my new Facebook profile picture.

“Can you please take a picture of me?”, I ask a passerby.

Oops! I smiled too much. It looks as if I am posing for a toothpaste advertisement.

“Can you please take another picture of me?”

I thank the passerby and check the photo.

Here I am frowning as if I’m thrown out of the door!

Let me take a selfie.

Ew! I’m looking fat in this picture.

Finally, I took a picture of the beautiful scenery and uploaded it to Facebook with the caption “Nature at its best” .

The photo went viral!

I took the right decision by excluding myself from the magnificent view.

  1. Love your take on this prompt! The opinion of scenery is generally good, but when it comes to people….they want everything to be perfect and when someone sees themselves in a photo they usually do not like it if they are not looking very good. She took care of that situation though by excluding herself all together. Great creative story.

I'm all ears. Tell me.
