I am totally stressed out this week.  Since it is Friday, I snuck out of the office early. My friend suggested this ‘Calm coloring book for adults’ to relieve my stress. My preschool daughter loves coloring but not I. It seems so silly sitting here in the park with this coloring book and a bunch of crayons! Let me try! After all these coloring books are trending these days!

Whoa! What is this? The first page itself is baffling!

Not for me! Let me close this book and enjoy this pleasant evening in the park!

“Mom! What a peaceful place! A writing desk at the window with a wonderful view of the stream, and the mountains! Isn’t this place perfect to finish your novel?”

“Emily, the house is perfect. But I couldn’t work on my novel. See that brick house across us.  Whenever I sit at my desk, the lady in that house notices me and waves at me. Immediately she comes home, starts chattering and doesn’t leave for a couple of hours. I don’t understand how to avoid her. Probably I should pull down the blinds before I start writing!”
