“ Jack, Don’t buy any more batteries. ”
“Emma, we need them for almost every electronic gadget in our house.”
“Yes, Jack. But we already have a jar full of extra batteries. Also, there a lot of batteries everywhere in the house”
Meanwhile, Jack is busy browsing the internet and Emma is busy searching and sorting the unused batteries.
“Emma, Can you believe this? If we buy a digital photo frame, we will get a pack of batteries free..!”
Emma let’s out a deep sigh wondering when her husband will get over this strange hobby of collecting batteries.
Each week, Rochelle Wisoff-Fields-Addicted to Purple hosts Friday Fictioneers where we’re challenged to write a piece of flash fiction in 100 words, more or less, based on the picture above. Thank you Rochelle for this challenge.
